What Is Squidoo?

Squidoo is a free resource for anyone who's got something to share with the world. It is an especially good resource for writer's. In fact, it is a good place to market yourself.

Squids (Squidoo members) create what are called lenses. Lenses can be about anything, and typically are. Lenses are free web space that one can use for just about anything. They offer the ability to add all sorts of wonderful content on whatever topic; things like video, polls, feedback, store fronts, etc..

It is a place to unleash your talents and imagination. If you can create 50 good lenses, you may be nominated to be a Giant Squid. I am a Giant now!
